Here is a list of STANDARD REQUIREMENTS for SEMINAR SET-UP:
LCD Projector & Screen – If the screen is portable it should be set up off center allowing the Presenter to stand in the center without projecting shadows on the screen or having the projector’s lights in the eyes.
Laptop – I will provide my own laptop for power point and can connect to the host’s projection system via HDMI or RGB. The host needs to provide the cable. I also provide my own wire hand controller for advancing slides.
Small Table for Presenter’s Lap Top & Host’s Projector (unless using host’s computer elsewhere in the room)
AC Multi-Strip to accommodate Presenter’s Lap Top and LCD Projector
Music Stand or Small Lectern
White Board with Markers (Flip Chart could substitute if a white board is not available)
Wireless Hands-Free Microphone and Sound System (unless very small room or group)
Tables & Chairs for Participants – This is helpful for note-taking and collaborating on workshops as a church team. Ideally, these tables should be spread out to avoid crowding and to give people plenty of space throughout the day.
NOTE: This set-up protocol is not needed for the Friday Evening Leadership Conference that is included in the Church Vitality Weekend. All that is needed for these sessions is a white board or flip chart with markers.
A digital master of the G.O.1 Training Manual will be sent to the church, accompanied by a master of the cover and assembly instructions. Permission is granted to print as many copies are needed for in-house use, one per person at the G.O.1 Seminar. Contact the GO Center regarding training manuals other than the G.O.1 Manual.

Ideally, the host will provide beverages (at least water and coffee) as well as light snacks for breaks.
Option 1 Host prepares lunch, e.g. covered dish or food prepared in a church kitchen.
Option 2 Boxed lunches are brought in from outside, often asking payment or donation from participants.
Option 3 Participants go out to lunch in the local area. This is a simple option but also tends to take more time than lunch at the church or other host site, so there would be a need to extend the dismissal time until 4:00 pm.
